When people ask "Tell me about yourself" I always start with "I am a mom". I feel that always comes first. It could be for many reasons. One is I have four boys. The other could be because they are my life. And then it could also be because I was a mom at age 17. Now before you go thinking I was a teen mom and put me in that box people so often do, I will be the first to tell you that there are teen moms out there who do fight the odds and who are great moms.
So let me break it down nice and easy:
1:The baby daddy (Mike) and I are still together...happily married for almost 15 years
2:I am very educated...two degrees and a teaching credential
3:I own my home (upside down in it and holding on to it thank you very much)
4:I do not take any money from the state.
5:I would have 4 more kids if I could but these ones keep me busy as it is!
Are we clear? Good :) Now that's off my chest...I feel better!

So, that is where I want to start my blog. How the family of 4 became the family of 6! Why start there you may ask? Well, it is amazing how different my life has been since expanding to six. I want to post the ups and downs, the ins and outs, how to manage a big family and just share with the world ;even hope to learn from others. Enjoy my family blog!
